Sr Engineer

In our location in Pune, we have following position opened for internal applications:

Sr Engineer in the department of Engineering – All Functions.

* Job Tasks
Computational Engineer
Calculation, Simulation & Development of complex optical, mechanical, and mechatronic device and components.

To perform FEA for Mechanical shock, Head impact, Vibration test, drop test, Thermal shock test, Misuse testing & stresses generated in the component using appropriate in simulation software.

Working knowledge on proto-building methods to check convergence with actual results / error in FEA.

Verification & suggest design solution of mechatronic system designs in consideration of customer specifications & validation testing.

Supporting of all development activities including conducting CFT review meeting of the mechanical systems on the product level.

Product cost optimization ideas communication to team.

Planning and ensuring the adherence of schedules & budget.

Communication and interaction with Customer (OEM/Teir1) and with suppliers for DFM, DFA, Industrialization etc.
* Required Qualification
Experience and handled at least 2-project with complete Product development lifecycle as per APQP, communication with customer and suppliers.
Working knowledge on Abacus and Hyper works/Altair Hyper mesh simulation software.

Knowledge of Indian, International, European, Japanese (AIS, ECE, JIS, etc.) automotive standards, Lifetime test (Endurance, Durability, Crash test requirement, etc) requirements.

Experience in multibody and nonlinear material simulation

Brief knowledge on Catia 3D and assembly modules

Experience in the simulations of Automotive interiors Mechatronic & Display module

Competency in Mechatronic system design, Manufacturing process for plastic, Sheetmetal and Pressure die casting.

Knowledge: Requirement management and analysis, FMEA, Product- and component-test, Quality assurance

Knowledge in electronics-hardware, circuit connectors, PCB technology, (specially vehicle climate control)
