Logistics Planning - Electronic Buyer in the department of Logistics in the team of Thomas Oommen.
| * Job Tasks |
Understand electronic components (active/passive components, connectors) and market trends to anticipate and take necessary steps ( Pull-in , Push-out) on finding risks.
Identify, evaluate, and supplier scheduling, negotiate pricing, payment terms & delivery schedules (Broker buying), terms, and contracts to achieve cost targets.Align and drive various internal stakeholders (R&D, SQM, SCM, Global Supply Chain, Sales) for electronic components on usage of strategic electronic component suggesting alternatives. Maintain accurate data for SCM, pricing, and supplier information in SAP ERP System Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery), handle, and resolve issues regarding damaged materials, returns, or shortages Maintain Inventory as per defined Targets Monitor Critical & monitor supply risk. Regular Monitor Excess & Obselence stock |

Requirement
3 - 5+ years in procurement, specifically within electronic components, EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services), or automotive industriesStrong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems. Experience with Cost Reduction initiatives Fluent in English Language |
