What you’ll be doing:

 

  • Managing dedicated projects and is part of the core project team according to the Product Development Process (PDP) for series projects

  • Lead the procurement activities for CM’s in series Projects according to the Sourcing Process

  • Leading the Sourcing Process (RFQ, price overview, negotiation to supplier) according to the project milestones for change requests and adjust price and strategy with commodity buyer

  • Maintaining the schedule for the purchased parts incl. milestones in the overall project schedule

  • Reviewing change request BOM with the commodity buyers

  • Performing purchasing kick off for change requests from the series project

  • Responsibility for the purchasing process during the CM’s, starting with the quotation and concept to the start of production of the Change

  • Creating timelines for all purchase parts in the project including maturity- and PPAP timing, monitor the timing with the SQE and the supplier

  • Performing the purchasing gate review according to PDP Change requests gates with the project team

  • Managing after-series activities for purchased parts in coordination with the project team

 

 

What we’re looking for:

 

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Economics, Industrial Engineering or other appropriate

  • Work experience in the automotive industry

  • Knowledge in purchasing standards and processes

  • Willingness to learn and result oriented person

  • Analytical and logical thinking

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of working time

  • Knowledge in plastic components will be considered as an advantage

  • Advanced knowledge of English

  • Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
