Materials Engineer

1. Development and advance development of mechatronic systems and devices, with a special focus on material & surface technologies
2. Supports the Mechanical System Engineer and the Project Team in all specific technology topics (plastic part design, material choice and properties, cover glass, adhesives, optical bonding material, surface technologies, surface testing etc.) 3. Launch of new products and technologies, in cooperation with design, purchasing and production planning
4. Creation of optical / mechanical system designs in consideration of customer specifications
5. Scouting for new technology
6. Good quality awareness, familiar with quality tools

Minimum of 5 years experience in the area of designing automotive, especially vehicle interior parts.
knowledge for Quality APQP、PPAP、FMEA、SPC、MSA tools

Min. 1 year design experience for complex automotive interior parts with visible surfaces and user interfaces

Design experience considering automotive plastics/metal/ cover glass/adhesive material and surface treatment requirements

Good quality awareness, familiar with quality tools
