Data Privacy Manager

In our location in Pune, we have following position opened for internal applications:

Data Privacy Manager in the department of Information Technology in the team of Tim Sender.

 

 Job Tasks

GDPR Compliance
• Analysis of applications and processes to ensure GDPR compliance.• Implement a global privacy program across all BHTC locations.
• Coordinate with local data protection coordinators and legal to drive GDPR compliance tasks to closure.
• Conduct PIAs and DPIAs wherever required and report findings.
• Review and update the Global RoPA (Record of Processing Activities) regularly.
• Review data processing agreements


IT Policies, Standards and Processes
• Support the creation, review and update of IT Policies, Standards and Processes.
• Make sure that all IT and other Policies, Standards and Processes are implemented and understood by management, users, and country IT teams.
• Train IT staff in IT Policies, Standards and Processes.

Consultancy / Support / Train
• Provide consultancy and support to users, management, and IT staff in GDPR.
• Train users, management, and IT staff in all aspects of GDPR.
• Support projects in GDPR

Communication
• Holds regular security review meetings with the CIO and IT Governance Officer (Germany).

Audits
• Perform, assist, or guide GDPR audits.
• Provide audit reports to management.
• Manage and control the resolution of GDPR audit deviations.
• Support audit of other areas.

Education:
• Bachelor University degree in Computer Science, Information or Technology Systems, Engineering or related fields or appropriate working knowledge.

Certifications/Licensing:
• Certification/Training in GDPR.

Years and Type of Experience:
• 6-10-years' experience in Data Privacy & Protection including GDPR
• Proven working experience in similar position.
• Excellent knowledge of data privacy concepts including GDPR.
• Good knowledge of business processes in an international / European manufacturing environment.

Key Required Skills, Knowledge and Capabilities:
• Good English language skills in writing and speaking.
• Good communication skills, especially with management, business people and IT technicians.
• High level of customer orientation.
• Good organizational and planning skills.
• Willing to travel internationally.
